(Select all that apply)
A

I am delighted when I make mistakes. Setbacks never bother me because I know I'll learn something wonderful.

B

I am bothered when I make a mistake. I wouldn't say I like making mistakes, but I know it's part of learning and growing.

C

I am very agitated when I make a mistake. I really beat myself up whenever I make one.

D

I usually feel slightly impatient when I have a setback. I'm ready to have my goal or project stepping through to completion.

E

I feel VERY impatient when I have a setback, and I can also feel frustrated, stuck, and even angry when my progress is not straightforward, unimpeded, and consistent.

F

I shut down to a certain extent whenever I experience a mistake or setback.

Question 9 of 15

Are there different ways to describe your relationship to mistakes and setbacks that were not mentioned in the last question?  If so, please explain it here.

What goal, project or self-development trait are you struggling to start or achieve?

Question 11 of 15

What happens when you make a mistake or suffer a setback on these goal(s), project(s), or aspect(s)?

Question 12 of 15

How I see myself when making a mistake or having a setback:

(Select all that apply)
A

I am completely okay with this part of learning and personal development. I love myself throughout and there is no negative self-talk.

B

I get mildly bothered, irritated, or frustrated, but it passes quickly, and I move on to problem-solving the issue. My frustration has more to do with not liking the learning curve than seeing myself as a failure.

C

I am extremely upset with myself when I have made a mistake or suffered a setback. I talk to myself about being a failure and beat myself up for every little thing. I can tell this is affecting my confidence.

D

I get agitated and tend to make excuses or blame others when I make a mistake or suffer a setback. It is tough for me to look with faith and optimism at the parts I need to improve.

E

I can talk frankly, but with love to myself when making a mistake or setback. I acknowledge my part easily and quite often talk to myself with humor about what I have done wrong or neglected.
